Adam Sawng was one of those dark-horse kinds, the one you never expect to succeed but still does time after time. Born into a middle class family, his dad died from a heart attack when Adam was in 9th grade, leaving Adam, the only son, as the man of the house. Having been just middle of the pack up until then, Adam then redoubled his efforts to succeed. He went from C's in his freshman year to having a 4.5 GPA at the end of his senior year (how is that possible? AP classes!). He then went on to graduate, with honors, from NYU with a major in Criminal Justice. He was planning to join the NYPD when the Agency offered him an even better job as an Agent. However, first he had to pass through the Agency academy. He was about half-way through his year of training when disaster struck. During a drill, a piece of an I-beam fell on his right leg, tearing all the tendons in his knee, rupturing his achillies tendon, and completely shattering his lower leg. The Agency was ready to write him off and offer him a job working with Mark in the weapons lab, as they were completely convinced he would never recover... well the dark-horse strikes again. Not only did he totally recover, but he recovered in one year, well ahead of expectations. He then finished his training with an excellent B+ grade. The newest addition to the Agency, he is a bit lacking in stealth abilitys, but makes up for it with incredible strength and accuracy with weapons, making him possibly the most heavily armed of Agents.
Interesting little factoid:
Despite being numbered 00005 (you recieve numbers at beginning of academy, and stay with you, only becoming official when you graduate), due to his injury, he found himself surpassed by Trisha Corton, 00006, on reaching the Agent level.
